How to Use the Towing Rate Calculator

   Before getting started, you’ll need to create a copy of the calculator. Click on File > Make a Copy to save your own editable version. Only edit the green cells—changing other cells could break the calculator.

2. Enter Fixed and Variable Expenses:

   • Fixed expenses like rent and insurance are fairly stable each month.

   • Variable expenses such as fuel, maintenance, and advertising will fluctuate. Input these based on your current or estimated monthly costs.

3. Calculate Fuel Costs:
   Our tool includes a Fuel Consumption Calculator to give you a precise estimate of fuel expenses based on call volume. Choose one of two fuel calculators:

   • Calculator 1: Includes idle time for more accuracy.

   • Calculator 2: A quick estimate based on average fuel use per call.

4. Estimate Call Volume and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA):
   Input the number of calls you expect per month and your cost per acquisition if you’re running ads. This helps you see how many calls you need each day to break even and set profitable rates.
